Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facility spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Manage laundry duties such as sorting, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care
- Operate dry cleaning equipment when necessary to handle delicate or special garments
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas to ensure availability of essentials
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout all assigned areas
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and hygiene standards
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
