Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents
• Implement sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met and maintained
• Dust surfaces, clean floors, carpets, and upholstery using specialized floor care and carpet cleaning techniques
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels
• Maintain cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, bathroom fixtures, windows, and furniture to uphold health standards
• Use manual handling skills to lift heavy items safely during cleaning tasks or when moving furniture and equipment
• Communicate effectively with clients or guests to address their cleaning needs and ensure satisfaction
• Follow safety protocols during work or when handling cleaning chemicals to prevent accidents or injuries

Skills

• Proven experience in residential or commerical cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with a focus on sanitation and surface cleaning
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of cleaning detergents and equipment for floor care and surface sanitation
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing work environments when necessary
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout shifts
• Exceptional customer service skills with clear communication abilities for client interaction and feedback
• Hands-on experience with carpet cleaning techniques and indoor cleaning tasks is a plus
• Familiarity with manual handling practices to ensure safety during all physical tasks

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
