Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team at Holiday Inn Express. As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel rooms and public areas. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including room attendants and laundry staff.
- Train new housekeeping employees on hotel cleanliness standards and procedures.
- Ensure that guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linen and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
- Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with front desk staff to prioritize room cleaning and guest needs.
- Maintain a safe working environment for housekeeping staff by enforcing safety guidelines and procedures.
- Implement and uphold all company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Physical mobility and stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
