What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at Holiday Inn Express & Suites?
Our Assistant General Manager position holds many assorted duties including working closely with our staff and with our guests. It is our goal to treat all people with respect and make their stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Schedule making
- Hiring for Front Desk and Housekeeping
- Learn the property management system
- Creating and Managing group blocks
- Responding to guest reviews
- Dealing with disgruntled guests
- Assist Front Desk with taking phone calls when they are busy
- Do monthly or bi-monthly billing
- Post A/R payments
- Schedule and monitor training for staff
- Work with the revenue manager
- Process payroll hours

Must have vision ability in order to visually inspect hotel.
Must have the mobility to walk through the front and the back of the hotel.
Climbing approximately 20-30 steps 10% of the week.
Physically able to regularly inspect all areas of the interior and exterior of the facility.
