Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Perform laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens, towels, and guest clothing with efficiency and care
- Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational areas by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Care for flooring through proper floor care techniques including polishing and buffing to preserve appearance and safety
- Follow established protocols for janitorial tasks, including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere to health and safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage while ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus
- Hands-on experience with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques demonstrates your technical proficiency
- Knowledge of janitorial procedures and laundry operations enhances your ability to perform duties efficiently
- Background in hospitality or hotel management provides valuable insight into guest service expectations
