Duties
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and sanitizing bathrooms to meet high standards of cleanliness.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort.
- Handle laundry duties by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas like hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s pristine appearance.
- Use proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces and floor types, including carpet care and industrial cleaning methods.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or damage.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on housekeeping or laundry services.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet maintenance.
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable.
