Job Overview
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-time Hotel Front Desk Associate! In this energetic role, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, ensuring every guest experiences exceptional service from check-in to check-out. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create memorable stays, foster guest satisfaction, and uphold our reputation for hospitality excellence. This position is primarily for Friday and Saturday nights 4:00pm to midnight to assist a 2nd desk agent with larger numbers of guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reservation records, modify bookings, and assist with room assignments
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
- Conduct night audits to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure smooth overnight operations
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and vendors via multi-line phone systems
- Assist with guest relations efforts to foster positive relationships and repeat visits
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including guest services and night audit procedures, is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to ensure clear interactions with guests and team members
- Experience in handling guest relations and resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
