Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Part-Time Hotel Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests, staff, and visitors. This energetic role is ideal for someone who is vigilant, professional, and committed to safety. As the first line of defense, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive guest experience while upholding hotel policies and procedures. This role will be for Friday and Saturday evenings through October.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of hotel hallways, public areas, and exterior property
- Monitor and control access points to ensure guest and staff safety
- Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or disturbances
- Assist guests and staff with requests, providing excellent customer service
- Support basic maintenance needs as they arise
- Enforce hotel policies and safety protocols at all times
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Previous security, law enforcement, or related experience preferred
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
