What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
Must have Sunday availability. Must be very meticulous and thorough.
The Holiday Inn Express is looking for additional housekeepers to join our team. Job duties include the following: clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, breakfast area, meeting room, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other work areas. The position can be considered seasonal- beginning immediately and hours will drop off significantly around November.
- Cleaning rooms: including but not limited to stripping dirty linens, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, making beds, cleaning bathrooms and moving furniture
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and/or draperies
- Replenish linen and guest amenities
- All work must be completed within an allotted time frame in order to meet production standards
- Reports deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with hotel standards
- Assist co-workers as requested
- Display professional image at all times through appearance and conduct
- Follow Brand Standards at all times
- Must be able to stand, lift, bend, stretch, crawl, reach and kneel
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Sweep, scrub, wax and/or polish floors
- Keep storage areas and carts well stocked, clean and tidy
