How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead and participate in safety activities, meetings, and risk assessments.
- Coach team members on safe work practices and workplace inspections.
- Ensure standard procedures are followed and address quality or freight issues.
- Allocate team resources, maintain shipping reports, and update accountability boards.
- Track shipments, resolve abnormalities, and proactively adjust plans to meet delivery commitments.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Success teams to support on-time order fulfillment.
- Oversee inventory audits, resolve discrepancies, and utilize TMS for domestic shipments.
- Lead 5S activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the shipping area.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping; logistics experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with export processes, shipping documentation, and logistics suppliers.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Familiarity with TMS, LTL requirements, hazardous transport, lean methods, and 5S.
