Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare data and perform detailed structural engineering calculations for assigned projects
- Support fieldwork, inspections, installations, and problem-solving activities on industrial and infrastructure sites
- Collaborate with other departments and external suppliers to obtain and coordinate technical information
- Help manage project scope and address changes to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget
- Prepare and present project information and technical findings to internal stakeholders and external audiences
- Apply creative and analytical thinking to develop innovative structural solutions that meet project requirements and standards
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Merrillville, Indiana area; able to work primarily on-site with hybrid flexibility after ramp-up
- 0–6 years of structural design experience on industrial, refinery, or heavy infrastructure projects
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification obtained or in process
- Proficiency with AutoCAD for structural design and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a U.S. state, or documented progress toward licensure
- Experience with Revit and BIM-based structural design workflows
- Experience supporting fieldwork, inspections, or installations on industrial, refinery, or heavy infrastructure projects
- Experience preparing and delivering client-facing presentations or reports for structural engineering deliverables
Salary : $85,000 - $110,000
