What You’ll Do
- Deliver expert remote support for enterprise-grade servers, storage equipment, and VMware environments in mission-critical manufacturing data centers.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and associated directory services.
- Operate across a range of VMware technologies—vCenter, ESXi (6.x ), Horizon View, vSAN—ensuring stability, security, and performance in production systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues via phone, email, and remote tools for engineers, distributors, and integrators.
- Investigate software, firmware, and hardware issues, document findings, and follow through until resolution.
- Create and update technical documentation, best-practice notes, and knowledge base articles to empower both internal teams and customers.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Solid hands-on experience with VMware solutions in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, MS IIS, and SAN/vSAN architectures.
- Familiarity with network and SAN switching technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming for automation and cloud (Python, Java, JavaScript, PowerShell).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle urgent issues outside of standard business hours when needed.
Preferred Extras
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification.
- Experience with Veeam Backup, Backup Exec, Veritas, Nutanix, Cyolo, or Industrial Data Center (IDC) technologies.
