Corporate Procurement Manager
A Fortune 300 company in the Phoenix area is hiring a Corporate Procurement Manager to play a central role in how their procurement function uses data, systems, and reporting to drive smarter sourcing and supplier decisions. This is a hands-on seat that pairs deep procurement experience with strong data analytics and contract negotiation. You'll own the integrity of procurement data, build the reporting that leadership relies on, and use that data to drive negotiations with large enterprise software vendors and other strategic suppliers.
The team is investing heavily in its analytics, reporting, and negotiation capabilities, and this role is central to that build out. If you've built your career in enterprise procurement, can turn data into leverage at the negotiating table, and are comfortable representing your company face-to-face with major vendors and at industry conferences, this is the seat.
Responsibilities
- Manage data integrity of the procurement system of record, including supplier master data, item master, contracts, and transactional data across source to pay
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting that procurement leadership and executive stakeholders rely on for spend visibility, supplier performance, and decision support
- Use data analysis to identify overspend, choke points, and cost optimization opportunities across the supplier base, especially within enterprise software contracts
- Lead contract negotiations with large software suppliers and other strategic vendors, leveraging data and analytics to drive favorable terms
- Represent the company in person at vendor conferences, supplier meetings, and industry events, including handling on-the-fly negotiations and competitor-facing conversations
- Partner with IT, analytics, and integration teams on system enhancements, configuration changes, and downstream data flows
- Standardize how procurement data is captured, validated, and used across the business
- Support sourcing, contract, and spend analysis efforts with reliable, well-structured data
- Lead and develop one to two analysts on the team, providing technical mentorship and prioritization
- Partner with procurement leadership on executive-level reporting, KPIs, and spend visibility initiatives
Qualifications
- 5 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or procurement systems experience
- Hands-on procurement module experience in a major enterprise ERP, such as Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle EBS, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MM, SAP Ariba, or comparable
- Strong contract negotiation experience, particularly with large enterprise vendors and software suppliers
- Hands-on Power BI experience building dashboards, reports, and visualizations from enterprise data sets
- Advanced Excel
- Experience leading or mentoring at least one or two team members (analysts, buyers, or similar)
Preferred
- Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience within procurement, sourcing, or source to pay modules
- Experience writing SQL against enterprise data sources such as Snowflake, Denodo, or similar
- Report development experience in OTBI, Oracle Analytics Cloud, or BI Publisher
- Hands-on FBDI experience for data loads, migrations, and bulk updates
- Experience negotiating directly with major software vendors such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, Salesforce, or similar
- Contract management exposure
- CPM, CPSM, Six Sigma, or Lean Six Sigma certification
