Title: Senior Buyer / Procurement Data Analyst
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 /year
Location: HYBRID, Scottsdale, 4 days in office
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
A Fortune 300 company in the Phoenix area is hiring a Senior Buyer with strong data analytics chops to join their corporate procurement team. This is a hybrid seat that pairs hands-on purchase order ownership with the kind of data analysis and dashboard work that turns procurement from transactional into strategic. You'll be the person who creates and manages POs at scale, builds the dashboards procurement leadership uses to make decisions, and helps the team find cost savings and supplier performance gains buried in the data.
The team is investing heavily in its analytics, automation, and AI-powered reporting capabilities, and this role is central to that build out. If you've worked inside an Oracle ERP environment, are fluent in FBDI and BPA loads, and can translate procurement data into dashboards and insights that actually move the needle, this is the seat. There's a clear growth path into management for the right person.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage purchase orders using FBDI and BPA loads to maximize processing efficiency
- Drive supplier analytics initiatives to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve lead times
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and AI-powered reporting systems
- Perform comprehensive price and cost analysis to support total cost of ownership studies
- Collaborate with suppliers on catalog creation and management within procurement systems
- Conduct light testing of supplier tools and integration platforms
- Create functional, user, and reporting requirements documentation for business solutions
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve system errors and ensure seamless data integration
- Support supply chain optimization through strategic data analysis
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of procurement or purchasing experience with a data analysis focus
- Experience working in a Oracle procurement modules, or comparable enterprise ERPs
- Full purchase order lifecycle management
- Proficiency in Power BI dashboard creation
- Strong supplier relationship management skills
- Knowledge of supply chain optimization methodologies
