Semi-Skilled Carpenter

HireQuest Direct San Antonio Northeast TX 1st Shift Temporary Job Summary: We are looking for a dependable Semi-Skilled Carpenter to support construction and carpentry projects by assisting with basic woodworking tasks, installations, and repairs. This role is ideal for someone with foundational carpentry experience who is looking to grow their skills while working under the guidance of experienced carpenters or supervisors. Key Responsibilities: Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other materials Install basic structures such as framing, drywall, doors, windows, and cabinetry Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Support senior carpenters with project tasks and site preparation Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on job sites Perform minor repairs and adjustments as directed Follow blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions Maintain a clean and safe work environment Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations Work Environment: Work performed on construction sites, indoors and outdoors Exposure to varying weather conditions Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and climbing
