HireQuest Direct Roanoke VA $20/hour Temp-to-Permanent Job Title: Traveling Plumber – Temp-to-Hire Location: Troutville, Roanoke, Salem, Botetourt, and Bedford, Virginia We are currently seeking experienced plumbers for a temp-to-hire opportunity servicing multiple locations across the Virginia region. This role involves traveling from site to site to diagnose and repair both minor and major plumbing issues in residential and commercial settings. Key Responsibilities: Perform plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance across various job sites. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water supply, drainage, and fixtures. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Communicate effectively with clients and team members. Requirements: Minimum 2 years of professional plumbing experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to travel daily between job sites. Must pass a drug screen and a background check (covering the past 7 years). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Compensation: $25–$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday (occasional weekends may be required)
