HireQuest Direct Greensboro NC $20/hour Full-Time Group Leader – General Labor (3rd Shift: 10:00 PM–6:30 AM) Department: Operations Status: Full-Time Shift: 3rd Shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM) Location: Greensboro Overview We are seeking a motivated Group Leader to join our Operations Team. This role is a growth position and a key stepping stone to Supervisor. Only associates with a strong desire to advance into leadership should apply. Successful candidates will demonstrate initiative, a willingness to learn, and the foundational competencies of a future leader. Group Leaders support the department by performing operational duties while assisting the Supervisor in coordinating daily activities. This position is ideal for individuals who want to develop leadership skills and contribute to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities Safety & Team Leadership Prioritize Safety First in all tasks and ensure safe work practices are followed Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment Monitor associates to ensure tasks are performed correctly and safely Identify employee retention issues and escalate as needed Operational Duties Perform duties of an Operator, Material Handler, and/or Wrapper as needed Assist the Department Supervisor with daily operations Support scheduling of staff and workflow coordination Train new associates and help develop team skillsets Administrative Support Process and complete clerical and administrative tasks Participate in training and development opportunities Assist with documentation, reporting, and other departmental needs Requirements Safety-Sensitive Position – requires operating heavy machinery High school diploma or equivalent Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or operations environment Strong communication skills Ability to analyze situations and problem-solve effectively Working knowledge of Outlook and basic computer skills Must meet all physical requirements of the position Must be able to work overtime as needed What We Offer Competitive wages and bonus opportunities Profit sharing Industry-leading medical coverage PTO and Paid Holidays Additional benefits and perks
