Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to month-end close and reporting activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain journal entries and general ledger activity
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and financial discrepancies
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting activities
- Maintain accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
