The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role designed for a sharp, early-career operator looking to transition from advisory work into true ownership.
As Director of Strategic Initiatives, you will partner closely with senior leadership to diagnose, stabilize, and scale the Install Division. You’ll work directly with executive leadership and field operators to identify the biggest value creation levers, build actionable plans, and drive execution on the ground.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy and operations and offers a clear path toward broader leadership and P&L responsibility over time.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Integration Efforts Post-Acquisition
Take an active role in integrating newly acquired businesses over a 60–90 day period. Evaluate existing operations, identify gaps, and implement structured plans to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
Assess & Enhance Business Performance
Analyze operational, financial, and organizational performance to uncover key issues. Lead initiatives that deliver tangible, measurable improvements.
Establish Scalable Operating Frameworks
Design and implement reporting structures, processes, and management cadences that strengthen visibility, accountability, and execution across the business.
Advance Strategic Priorities
Assess and refine areas such as market positioning, pricing strategies, estimating practices, and customer engagement to ensure competitive advantage.
Translate Strategy into Execution
Partner closely with field leadership and frontline teams to convert strategic objectives into clear, actionable steps that drive real-world impact.
Enable Data-Driven Decisions
Support leadership with structured analysis, insights, and recommendations to guide critical business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience at a leading consulting firm (e.g., Bain, BCG, McKinsey) or in a similarly rigorous, analytical role.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex situations.
- Comfortable working in operational, field-based environments and influencing diverse stakeholders.
- Interest in pursuing a long-term path in operational leadership with P&L responsibility.
- MBA is a plus, but not essential.
