About Hired Employment Agency

Hired Employment Agency is a locally owned and growing staffing and recruiting company serving businesses and job seekers throughout North Central West Virginia.

We have built our company on hard work, relationships, accountability, and a commitment to helping people. We take pride in what we do, the businesses we represent, and the opportunities we create throughout our community.

As a growing business, our environment is constantly evolving. We are a close-knit team where everyone contributes, responsibilities matter, and no one is above helping with the day-to-day operations.

Position Overview

Hired Employment Agency is seeking a motivated, dependable, and personable Recruiting Specialist to join our growing team.

We are looking for someone who communicates effectively, enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is interested in developing a career in the staffing and recruiting industry.

We also believe in being transparent about our work environment.

Recruiting is a fast-paced, people-focused profession. Throughout the day, our team manages phone calls, interviews, applications, employee questions, changing schedules, and client hiring needs.

Some days go according to plan, while others require flexibility and quick problem-solving. Our team works together to navigate these challenges while maintaining professionalism, supporting one another, and delivering quality service.

This position also includes opportunities to represent Hired Employment Agency outside the office by attending career fairs, networking events, community functions, and other professional gatherings.

We provide the training, guidance, and resources necessary to learn the position. In return, we value consistent attendance, punctuality, communication, accountability, and a willingness to grow.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Schedule candidate appointments and review applications and resumes to identify qualified individuals.
  • Conduct professional telephone screenings and face-to-face employment interviews.
  • Ask relevant, job-related interview questions to evaluate candidates' experience, qualifications, availability, and suitability for available positions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead conversations, ask follow-up questions, and gather necessary information during interviews.
  • Develop an understanding of appropriate recruiting terminology, industry-specific language, job classifications, and employment requirements.
  • Clearly explain job descriptions, workplace expectations, compensation details, schedules, and hiring procedures to prospective candidates.
  • Maintain professional, respectful, and appropriate language when communicating with applicants, employees, clients, and coworkers.
  • Conduct interviews consistently and in accordance with company policies and applicable equal employment opportunity requirements.
  • Assist with recruiting and matching candidates to available employment opportunities.
  • Coordinate interviews, orientations, and other hiring-related appointments.
  • Follow up with candidates throughout the application and placement process.

  • Work closely with team members to meet recruiting and placement objectives.
  • Attend and represent Hired Employment Agency at career fairs, hiring events, networking opportunities, and community functions.
  • Build professional relationships with local businesses, educational institutions, community organizations, and prospective job seekers.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating recruitment events, on-site hiring initiatives, and community outreach activities.
  • Serve as a positive and professional representative of Hired Employment Agency at external events and throughout the community.
  • Support the company's ongoing recruiting efforts through community engagement and relationship building.
  • Assist with daily office responsibilities and provide support to coworkers as needed.
  • Develop positive working relationships with applicants, employees, and clients.
  • Contribute ideas and participate in improving recruiting processes and the candidate experience.
