- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-Time; Monday - Friday; 7:00am-3:30pm year-round employment
$18.50- $19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional cook/food-handler experience

- Assisting the director with other duties as situations require.
- Supporting the relationship with the food service caterer.
- Partnering with the Executive Director and the caterer to deliver child-friendly, nutritious menus.
- Ensuring food is accepted from caterer each day and stored according to all health and safety regulations.
- Preparing daily snacks.
- Distributing food to every classroom in accordance will all center health, safety and allergy restriction practices.
- Ensuring all food service items are collected from classrooms, cleaned and stored in accordance with health, safety and allergy restriction practices.
- Working in conjunction with the Executive Director to ensure all food service supplies and consumables (snacks and back up food) are well stocked and within their expiration date.
- Ensure entire facility operates at the highest level of cleanliness throughout the day.
- Emptying all waste and diaper containers periodically throughout the day.
- Ensuring all bathrooms are clean and properly stocked.
- Cleaning spills and messes that occur in the natural course of a child friendly environment.
- Supporting educator teams in ensuring classrooms are stocked with supplies.
- REQUIRED Age: must be at least 18 years of age
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma
- REQUIRED Experience: At least one year of food service experience, preferably in a childcare facility or school setting
- PREFERRED Certification: Food Manager Certification
- Must be able to lift ~30 pounds
- Must meet background check eligibility
