Our client is looking for caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Stafford, VA. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 6-weeks to 4-years-old as well as be comfortable with diapering.

• These are Direct Hire positions with the school
• Full-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment

Salary

• Lead Teachers: $18.00 - $25.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
• Assistant Teachers: $16.00- $19.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
• Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18-years-old
• REQUIRED LEAD TEACHER EDUCATION: CDA, Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• REQUIRED ASSISTANT TEACHER EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED
• REQUIRED LEAD TEACHER Experience: At least three years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
• Required ASSISTANT TEACHER Experience: Some childcare experience
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
• Must meet background check eligibility
