Our client is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Education Teachers to join their premier preschool in Stamford, CT.
- These are Direct Hire positions with the school
- Full-time or Part-time; Monday-Friday; year-round employment
Open Positions
- Full-Time Lead Toddler Teacher- working with children 1-years-old and the schedule can be 8:00am-5:00pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm; Monday through Friday
- Full-Time Toddler Floater Teacher- working with children 1- to 2-years-old and the schedule can be 8:30am-5:30pm, or 9:00am-6:00pm; Monday through Friday
- Full-Time or Part-Time Infant Floater Teacher- working with children 6-weeks- to 1-years-old and the schedule can be 8:30am-5:30pm or 11:00am-6:00pm; Monday through Friday
- Full-Time or Part-Time Preschool Floater Teacher- working with children 3- to 4-years-old and the schedule can be 8:00am-5:00pm, 8:30am-5:30pm, 9:00am-6:00pm, or 11:00am-6:00pm; Monday through Friday
Salary
- Lead Teachers: $20.00-$25.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience
- Floater Teachers: $18.00-$22.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18-years-old
- REQUIRED Lead Teacher Education: Child Development Associate (CDA) Certification or Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or an education-related field
- REQUIRED Lead Teacher Experience: At least 2-years of experience working with children in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- REQUIRED Floater Teacher Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- REQUIRED Floater Teacher Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- Must meet background check eligibility
