Our client is looking for fun and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join their premier preschool in Cherry Hill, NJ. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with students 6-weeks- to 5-years-old; as well as be comfortable diapering and toilet training.
- This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-Time Shifts; Monday - Friday; year-round employment
- Comfortable working in a Christian setting and should be able to support the organization’s faith-based mission.
Open Positions
- Assistant Infant Teacher: working with children 3-months- to 1.25-years-old; Preferred shift of 9:30am to 5:30pm but can be flexible if needed
- Assistant Toddler Teacher: working with children 1.25- to 2.5-years-old; Preferred shift of 9:30am to 5:30pm but can be flexible if needed
Salary
- $16.75 - $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Job Responsibilities
- Working in a faith-based environment and supporting religious programming
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Assist the Lead Teacher with the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as assisting with the maintenance of educational portfolios
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications
- REQUIRED Age: Must be at least 18 years of age
- REQUIRED Education: High School Diploma/GED
- PREFERRED Education: Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate
- REQUIRED Experience: 6 months of childcare experiene with children 5 years and younger; babysitting and nannying okay!!!
- MUST be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
- MUST meet background check eligibility
