Our client is looking caring, nurturing, and energetic Before and After-School Teachers to join their program in Culpeper, VA.
- These are Direct Hire positions with the school
- Part-Time; Monday-Friday; Academic-year employment
- Start date for this role is in August 2026, aligned with the school year!
Open Positions
- Before-School Teacher: the shift for this position would be 7:00am to 8:30am, Monday through Friday
- After-School Teacher: the shift for this position would be 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
- Before and After-School Teacher: this would be a split schedule of 7:00am to 8:30am AND 2:30pm to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday
- All positions will be working with Kindergarten through 5th grade students!
Salary
- $13.00 to $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional experience

Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities
- Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
- Maintain a clean and organized area
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other staff to create a positive environment
- Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in the field
Qualifications
- Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma
- Minimum Preferred Experience: At least 6-months of experience working with school-aged children
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
- Must meet background check eligibility
- Must be at least 18-years-old
