Responsibilities

  • Prepare and file applications and documentation with the DRE
  • Coordinate workflow among developers, consultants, legal teams, title, and escrow
  • Support pre- and post-closing logistics for complex real estate transactions
  • Draft basic agreements, summaries, consents, schedules, and exhibits
  • Handle entity formations (LLCs, S-Corps, C-Corps, nonprofits), including amendments, mergers, conversions, and dissolutions
  • Manage due diligence, including UCC searches and transfer requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and Paralegal certificate required
  • Minimum 7 years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm required
  • Experience with DRE filings and California Subdivided Lands Law a must
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage complex, multi-party transactions

Salary Range: $120-140K
