Job Summary

2nd shift mailroom processor, Lexington, KY

Full-time, Contract, 6 months with the potential for an extension or becoming permanent

Hours: 6pm start, Mon 12 hrs, Tues 6-8 hrs, Wed/Thurs possible hours depending on volume of work, Fri 6-8 hours. Guaranteed 30-35 hours per week.

Training: 2 weeks

Pay: $15 per hour, paid weekly

Responsibilities

• Scanning and processing mail into a scanning machine.

• Quality check paper documents, placing and loading into boxes and pallets.

• Offers basic computer skills.

• Must be able to sit for long periods, lift, bend and sort.

• Excellent attention to detail and good reading skills.

• Maintain organized records of all mail transactions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Support the team in achieving overall departmental goals.

• Utilize mail processing software to track and manage mail flow.

Experience/Qualifications

• Completed High school diploma.

• At least 18 years of age.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in mail handling.

• Willingness to participate in training and professional development.

• Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities effectively.

• Experience working in a results-oriented environment with measurable targets.

• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.

• Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate mail records.

• Proven ability to identify and report discrepancies in mail handling.
