Location: Remote, Hybrid, or Onsite (Draper or Lindon, UT)

Job Type: Full-time. Monday - Friday with flexible start times to help you balance your life outside of work with your career

Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 a year (based on experience, education, and credentials)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level

Responsibilities / What You’ll Do
  • Prepare & Review Returns: Handle individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence.

  • Advise Clients: Identify tax-saving opportunities, recommend proactive strategies, and communicate with clients clearly and consistently.

  • Lead & Mentor: Support and guide junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and share feedback to strengthen team performance.

  • Peak Season Performance: Reviewing 25-30 returns per week during peak season and 15 in off season (depending on position level) while maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes.

  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with tax law changes and compliance requirements to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.

  • Grow with Us: Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas that improve our tax systems and client experience.

 
Qualifications / Who are we looking for
  • CPA license or EA certification preferred; 4 years in tax or public accounting.

  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns.

  • Proficient in tax software (CCH)  and accounting systems; strong compliance knowledge.

  • Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members.

  • Excellent communication and client advisory skills.

  • A team player who appreciates a lighthearted culture (dad jokes welcome).
