Housekeeper

Come join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Sioux Falls! We’re looking for full-time Housekeepers to join our team and help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for every guest.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an important role in making sure our guests feel at home during their stay. You’ll help keep guest rooms, hallways, stairwells, and other assigned areas clean, fresh, and ready for our guests.

You’ll work alongside a team of Housekeepers and other hotel team members, supporting one another and jumping in where needed to keep the hotel running smoothly. Teamwork, attention to detail, and taking pride in your work are key to success in this role.

Shift: 8am-4pm

Days: Wednesday-Sunday

What You’ll Do

• Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Make beds and prepare guest rooms so they are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Clean, reset, and restock assigned rooms and housekeeping areas.
• Keep guest hallways and stairwells clean, organized, and presentable.
• Restock housekeeping carts with the supplies needed for the day.
• Communicate room or maintenance concerns and other deficiencies to the Executive Housekeeper.
• Work together with fellow Housekeepers by providing support and lending a hand when needed.
• Help create a positive guest experience by taking pride in the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel.
• Complete other duties as needed to support the team and hotel.

Key Outcomes:

• Ensure that all bathrooms are completely cleaned and sanitized to hotel standards.
• Prepare all bedding for either laundry or present guests and makes presentable to hotel standards.
• Cleans, resets, and restocks the General Room to meet hotel standards.
• Reports on all deficiencies to Executive Housekeeper.
• Responsible for the upkeep and presentation of all guest hallways and stairwells.
• Restock the housekeeping cart with items needed to complete everyday tasks.

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours.
Ability to lift up to 50 lb.
Detail oriented.
Customer service experience helpful.
Works well alone and with others.
