A Breakfast Cook is a culinary professional responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting breakfast dishes while maintaining kitchen safety, hygiene, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation: Prepare a variety of breakfast items such as eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausages, hash browns, pastries, and specialty dishes, following established recipes and dietary requirements
• Cooking Techniques: Utilize multiple cooking methods including frying, poaching, grilling, baking, and steaming to ensure consistent quality
• Kitchen Organization: Set up and maintain food stations, prepare ingredients in advance (mise en place), and ensure smooth workflow during peak breakfast hours
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to sanitation standards, monitor food temperatures, handle ingredients safely, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
• Collaboration: Coordinate with wait staff, line cooks, and kitchen managers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient usage, minimize waste, and report equipment malfunctions or supply shortages
