Director of Sales

Introduction:

We are seeking a driven and motivated Sales Leader to join our team as the Director of Sales and help drive sales growth. The Director of Sales will be responsible for identifying and pursuing sales leads, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets for rooms sales, food and beverage, and banquets. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Director of Sales will also be expected to represent in the hotel in the community, attending community events such as Chamber of Commerce functions, new business opening, and sports tourism related events.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue sales leads through a variety of channels, including phone, email, and social media

• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients to drive sales growth

• Negotiate and close deals to achieve sales targets

• Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement sales strategies

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client relationships

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to better understand clients' needs and identify new sales opportunities

• Attend community events and complete outside sales calls

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or a related field

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload

• Proficiency with computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office, PEP, Delphi, R&I helpful

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
