What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Highwater Marine, LLC/Pontoon Boat, LLC?
This position is responsible for the coordination and production of creative material, including but not limited to print materials such as brochures, product guides, prospect kit, etc., promotional/advertising materials, sales tools, social media graphics, and more. Maintains and organizes an extensive library of digital assets and provides asset assistance to dealers, media, and vendors. Assists with event support and coordination as needed, including annual dealer open house, photoshoot, boat shows, internal events, and more.
Qualifications:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create major print & digital interactive assets (product guide, brochure & prospect kit)
- Capture photo and video assets for any company photography needs, etc.
- Design promotional/advertising materials for major events, such as open house, boat shows, consumer events, press events, dealer showrooms, etc.
- Manage Marketing request forms and complete requested tasks in a timely manner
- Create and send advertising materials to national and regional print and digital publications
- Help maintain and create elements of the websites, for example: Build-A-Boat assets and promotional graphics
- Film and edit company videos (consumer events, adventure series, how to videos, product walkthroughs, etc.)
- Ensure drone certification is current in order to fly the company drone
- Ensure brand materials align with established brand identity and guidelines, including logos, color palettes, fonts, and more
- Create product/model videos with photoshoot footage
- Monitor and maintain all electronic tools, cameras, drones, etc.
- Maintain YouTube channels: responding to comments and posting new videos regularly
- Assists in major events such as Open House, photo shoots, training seminars, consumer events, Adventure Series, etc.
- Assist as needed in all marketing functions, including brand/product development, marketing materials development, organization of image and video assets, organization of marketing materials and supplies, assist with event support, sales promotions, digital advertising, creative needs, and various administrative
- Maintain the campus TV slides as needed
- Help manage graphic design/marketing summer assistant
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field and minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to completion
- Understanding of print and digital processes
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Superior organizational skills
- Familiarity with Monday.com or similar platform
- Familiarity with camera use as well as knowledge of composition and lighting principles
- Familiarity with video and photo editing
