Position Summary
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for accurately packaging, labeling, and casing finished cannabis products in compliance with state regulations and internal quality standards. This role supports daily production goals by ensuring pre-rolls, vapes, and edible products are packaged efficiently, consistently, and ready for distribution.
Schedule
Full-Time: Monday-Thursday between the hours of 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Package pre-rolls and vape cartridges into tubes according to approved specifications
- Package gummy products into tins, ensuring correct counts, seals, and presentation
- Apply labels accurately and consistently, verifying compliance with state and company requirements
- Case finished products for storage or shipment following established procedures
- Perform visual inspections to ensure packaging quality and product integrity
- Maintain accurate production counts and documentation as required
- Keep packaging areas clean, organized, and audit-ready
- Follow all cannabis compliance, safety, and sanitation protocols
- Communicate issues related to packaging defects, label errors, or material shortages to leadership
- Support other packaging or manufacturing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or regulated industries is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Must meet all state requirements to work in a licensed cannabis facility
Must be 21 or older.
- Must be willing to obtain an Agent ID through the Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR).
- Must be willing to provide fingerprints through DCR and MACHS.
