Staff Accountant
Location: Glendale (Cherry Creek)
Schedule: On-site Monday -Thursday | Work from home Fridays
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 5% bonus potential

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s general ledger and month-end close processes, while contributing to audit preparation and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general ledger accounting activities in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare and post journal entries as part of the month-end close process
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Perform account analysis, balance sheet reviews, and fluctuation analysis
- Assist in preparing audit workpapers and supporting external audits
- Coordinate inventory cycle counts and process inventory adjustments
- Support internal reporting and ad hoc financial analysis
- Assist with research, analysis, and documentation of technical accounting matters
- Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes, systems, and controls
- Participate in the development and implementation of new accounting procedures and policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 2 years of experience in public accounting (audit) or general ledger accounting
- Candidates should understand debits and credits, know the natural balance of accounts (revenue, AR, etc.), and have reviewed GL basics
