Staff/Cost Accountant

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead month-end close activities for assigned business units
- Analyze inventory valuation, COGS, gross margin, and manufacturing costs
- Maintain fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capital project reporting
- Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting packages
- Support annual audits and ensure GAAP compliance
- Review inventory movements and manufacturing cost accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of inventory costing and fixed asset accounting
- Experience with standard costing systems and variance analysis
- Experience supporting external audits
- Knowledge of Dynamics/Great Plains or similar ERP systems preferred
