Job Function/Purpose
The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Finance, with responsibility for operational accounting including oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, closing of books, and general ledger functions. This is an individual contributor role to start.
General Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate with operations all aspects of Bill of Materials costing, inventory management and Cost of Goods Sold reporting and analysis.
- Support and coordinate with the Director of Finance on all accounting activities of the US entity.
- Oversee all aspects of month end close and general ledger functions.
- Implement processes to ensure accounting results are completed timely and accurately.
- Support a strong internal control system that safeguards Company assets and is in compliance with best practices.
- Work with the Director of Finance to prepare the monthly financial statements and a monthly financial reporting package including all group reporting requirements.
- Work with the Director of Finance on the annual year-end external financial audit and coordinate with and provide information to the public accounting firm.
- Work with accounting and finance and cross-functional teams and leadership across the organization.

Requirements:
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- Cost accounting experience.
- 5 years of accounting experience.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing, construction, or a cost focused industry.
- Strong communicator both verbally and written.
- ERP system experience.
- Ability to work well under pressure, is open minded and flexible.
- Ability to work and communicate with functional leaders across the organization.

Pay: $85-100K annually DOE
Salary : $85,000 - $100,000
