A LITTLE ABOUT THE ROLE
I'm helping one of my favorite clients find a Senior Full Stack / Back-End Leaning Python Developer (Payments). This role offers the chance to modernize legacy systems and contribute to the next generation of payments infrastructure. They are seeking a senior developer who is practical and pragmatic, willing to dive into gnarly legacy systems and bridge the old to the new. They believe that the person they hire will likely have 7 years of software engineering and deep professional Python and Django experience.
Requirements:
- 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep Python application experience w/ any modern framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Experience with design / architecture / designing data models in production
- Startup / small company experience required: Background in payments, fintech, or other financial adjacent systems is highly preferred....
LOCATION
This role is REMOTE from many states in the US, including Colorado. *See below. This is a fully remote role with a lot of their Engineers in EST. However, I have posted it locally because, selfishly, I love connecting with local talent. That being said, please don't hesitate to apply if you are not in the Denver area and are in one of the states below OR if you are local and you're only open to remote roles. :) *Remote from Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
