Hot Stamp Operator Overview
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Hot Stamp Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with production equipment who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
In this position, you will play a key role in producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to build skills in advanced manufacturing and grow within a stable, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate hot stamp press and punch press equipment according to work instructions
- Read and follow job specifications, including tooling and die setup
- Measure and inspect parts using a tape measure and other basic tools to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine quality checks and document results as required
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and actively participate in site safety programs
- Support team production goals and meet established output targets
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience operating stamping presses or similar equipment is a plus
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic tooling
- Ability to read a tape measure (feet and inches)
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing/factory environment
- Extended periods of standing and repetitive work
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas
