About the Role

The ideal candidate is a Front-End Developer with strong experience in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, who is passionate about crafting exceptional user interfaces. This role involves building responsive, accessible, and high-performance web applications that integrate seamlessly with backend APIs.

Key Responsibilities

·      Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive, and scalable front-end applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.

·      Collaborate with designers and backend developers to transform Figma prototypes into functional, high-quality interfaces.

·      Implement accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.1 standards) to ensure inclusive user experiences.

·      Optimize performance and cross-browser compatibility across devices and screen sizes.

·      Integrate RESTful APIs and manage state using modern frameworks and libraries.

·      Participate in Agile sprints, daily stand-ups, and collaborative code reviews.

·      Contribute to the company’s evolving design system and help establish front-end best practices.

Qualifications

·      2 years of experience in front-end or full-stack web development.

·      Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Sass, or Material UI).

·      Solid understanding of HTML5, responsive design, and cross-platform optimization.

·      Experience integrating with REST APIs and managing data from backend services.

·      Familiarity with Git, Agile workflows, and collaborative version control.

·      Strong attention to visual detail, accessibility, and UX consistency.

·      Bonus: experience with Framer Motion, Figma, Node.js, or mobile development.

Required

·    Must be a US Citizen or valid green card holder

·     Must be able to work on site and commuting distance of Santa Monica.

Preferred:                                                       

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

·      Experience in a deep tech, AI, or product development environment.

·      Demonstrated ability to bridge technical solutions with user experience and design sensibility.
