About the Role

Hidonix is seeking a Back-End Developer with strong experience in .NET Core, C#, and SQL, and a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing the data and service layers that support Hidonix’s core products, collaborating closely with front-end engineers, data scientists, and product teams.

This position is suited for a technically curious and detail-oriented professional who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced, and research-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

·      Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.

·      Architect secure, high-performance systems that scale with user growth.

·      Develop and optimize SQL databases and stored procedures with attention to data security and performance.

·      Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation frameworks.

·      Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate APIs with React-based interfaces.

·      Conduct comprehensive testing using Postman, nGrok, and related tools.

·      Participate in Agile development cycles, code reviews, and continuous integration workflows.

·      Contribute to technical design discussions and help define backend architecture standards.

Qualifications

·      Minimum 2 years of work experience in backend or full-stack development.

·      Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Go, or Rust, SQL, T-SQL, and RESTful API development.

·      Experience with authentication systems (e.g., cookie-based, tokenized, or OAuth2).

·      Understanding of role-based access control, data security, and network optimization.

·      Familiarity with AWS S3, Git, Postman, and cloud-based environments.

·      Strong foundation in database design and query optimization.

·      Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative version control.

·      Bonus: Experience integrating analytics or automation tools within backend systems.

·     Authorized to work in the United States of America.

·     Commuting distance to Santa Monica, CA.

·     Does not require any visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Exposure to React, JavaScript, or front-end integration workflows.
• Experience working in deep tech, AI, or product-heavy environments.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Understanding of Microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka
