What you will be doing
The Resident Services Assistant plays an important role in supporting Independent Living residents by providing front desk coverage, hospitality, and essential daily services that contribute to a welcoming and safe environment. This position requires an organized and approachable individual who can respond to resident needs, manage multiple tasks, and work both independently and as part of a team.
In this role, the Resident Services Assistant greets residents and guests, answers incoming phone calls, and supports daily operations at the front desk. Responsibilities include submitting and tracking maintenance work orders, coordinating transportation requests through scheduling software, and communicating safety or security concerns to the appropriate staff. This position also carries the Emergency Response phone and responds to resident pendants or emergency calls, ensuring timely support for Independent Living residents.

- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in hospitality and/or administration support preferred.
- Experience working with adult populations, particularly geriatric residents, preferred
- Valid and current Michigan Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
