The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the EVP of Administration, the Director of Human Resources will serve as the senior HR leader for the organization, be responsible for leading our core Human Resources efforts. Their team serves the organization and plays a key role in shaping the company’s Human Resource strategy and compliance inititiatives driving its operational effectiveness through implementation of repeatable processes.

The Director of HR will oversee all aspects of the people function while partnering closely with executive leadership, operational leaders, and parent organizations to support continued growth and organizational alignment.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR leader who can build trust across all levels of the business, drive accountability, improve processes where needed, and create structure within a rapidly evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead core human resources functions across the organization
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership and operational management
- Partner closely with parent companies on HR initiatives, reporting, compliance, and organizational alignment
- Oversee payroll, employee relations, internal HR communications, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Drive Day 1 onboarding of new employees with a focus on a new employee’s first experience being positive with a goal that they have everything they need on Day 1
- Focus our performance management efforts – employee reviews / compensation and promotion structure
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations as well as all corporate policies and procedures and organize employee acknowledgment efforts
- Responsibility for continued implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Support benefits administration and employee benefits processes including medical, dental, 401k, vacation and leave
- Develop HR merger and acquisition playbook
- Manage and mentor HR team members while helping elevate the overall HR function
- Foster accountability metrics / progressive discipline coaching / training and exit interview process;
- Responsible for coordinating with parent company regarding our HRIS; headcount management and information in ADP rosters
- Assist leadership through periods of growth, integration, and organizational change
- Partner with operations leaders to support workforce planning and retention initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Proven HR leadership experience managing a team in a multi-site or operationally driven organization
- Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, compliance, and HR operations
- Experience supporting organizations through growth, acquisitions, or organizational change is highly preferred with a focus on process standardization and repeatability
- Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and business acumen
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive initiatives to completion.
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, construction, or related industries is a plus

Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
