Business Development Manager – Eastern Iowa
We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our Eastern Iowa territory through new business development and relationship-driven sales.
This is an outside sales role for someone who enjoys being on the road, meeting customers face-to-face, and building long-term business relationships. If you’re competitive, self-motivated, and want a career with strong income potential, this could be a great fit.
Compensation & Benefits
- First-year earnings typically range from $80,000–$120,000
- Average tenured reps in this role earn $250,000
- Base salary uncapped commission

What You’ll Do
- Prospect and win new business throughout Eastern Iowa
- Manage and grow your own territory
- Build relationships with warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial customers
- Sell forklifts, material handling equipment, warehouse solutions, dock & door products, service agreements, rentals, automation solutions, and other industrial equipment/services
- Maintain and grow customer accounts over time
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of outside B2B sales or territory management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Motivated, competitive, and driven to earn
- Comfortable spending time in the field and managing a territory independently
- Industrial, construction, logistics, equipment, or related sales experience is a plus
Territory
Ideal candidates live in or near:
Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Dubuque, Davenport, Iowa City, or other Eastern Iowa areas.
