$200K to $235K base plus approximately 10% bonus ($220K to $260K total target).

A profitable, nationwide warehouse storage solutions provider is hiring a Vice President of Finance. The business designs, engineers, permits, installs, and project manages turnkey pallet racking systems for customers across the country, and is now positioning the finance function for the next phase of growth. This is a high authority seat reporting directly to the CEO, with full ownership of the finance organization, executive team visibility, and a clear mandate to architect how the company scales.

What you'll own

• Financial strategy and FP&A: annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, long range planning, scenario modeling, and capital planning to support an aggressive multi year growth trajectory.
• GAAP financial reporting across a multi entity structure (operating company plus real estate holding companies), including consolidations, month/quarter/year end close, and audit readiness.
• NetSuite optimization: drive job costing, project profitability, and revenue recognition across a large book of concurrent active projects. Lead ERP cleanup, integrations, and reporting enhancements.
• Cash flow, working capital, and banking: manage liquidity, lender relationships, and covenant compliance. Support financing strategy as the business scales.
• Tax and compliance: multi state sales tax (Avalara), federal/state/local reporting, coordination with CPA firm, auditors, tax advisors, and insurance partners.
• Executive reporting: clear dashboards and a reporting package the CEO and executive team can trust. Surface margin, job costing, and project profitability insight.
• Team leadership: lead, develop, and where needed reshape a 5 to 7 person finance and accounting team. Build a culture of accountability and high performance.

What success looks like in your first 6 to 12 months

• NetSuite data is clean, month end close runs on a predictable cadence, and the executive team trusts the numbers.
• The finance team is right sized, right roled, and operating as a high performing unit.
• Leadership has clear, actionable visibility into margins, job costing, and project profitability. You are the trusted voice telling ownership when to scale up and when to pull back.
• The financial foundation for the next phase of growth is in place: systems, controls, reporting, and capital structure all built to scale.

What we're looking for

• 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership of a finance organization at a mid sized business (approximately $100M to $200M in revenue). This is not a training seat. We want a leader who has already scaled an organization to where this company is headed.
• Extensive hands on NetSuite experience. This is a hard requirement and will be vetted in every interview.
• Multi entity, multi location financial leadership. Deep GAAP expertise and a strong command of consolidations and internal controls.
• Project based and job costing accounting background. Construction, material handling, or other multi month, project driven industries strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• Servant leadership style. Direct, accountable, and people strong. This is a family led, entrepreneurial environment, and the team deserves a finance leader who can both hold a high bar and develop people.
• Bonus points for: Avalara and multi state sales tax experience, prior experience scaling finance from $100M to $500M , and material handling or warehouse storage industry background.

• On site, 5 days per week, based out of the Brea, California executive office.
• No overnight travel expected. Home every night.

Compensation transparency (California SB 1162)

The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $235,000 USD per year. This position is also eligible for an annual performance based bonus of approximately 10% of base ($20,000 to $23,500). Total target compensation is $220,000 to $260,000. Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and other job related factors.
