What you´ll do

• Lead product analysis and testing while documenting progress and results
• Provide technical support to customers and analyze results after product release
• Record, organize, and communicate experimental data
• Explore new technology, product, and performance improvement opportunities 
• Observe safety and environmental guidelines when handling materials 
• Perform data analysis, draw conclusions, and make experimental recommendations
• Maintain laboratory equipment, storage areas, and workspaces   
• Comply with all environmental, health and safety regulations and policies 
• Actively participate in scientific publications and forums 
• Collaborate with product management, production and sourcing teams to develop new products
• Support manufacturing to ensure quality product delivery 
• Communicate with stakeholders and use feedback to optimize processes and meet customer needs
• Attend or present technical work at business meetings and conferences  

What makes you a good fit

• PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Sciences, Materials Science, or related fields (preferred)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 5 years of strong product development experience
• Industrial or academic research experience in thermoset materials, especially epoxy resins
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with adhesive formulations, electronic materials, and/or semiconductor packaging processes  
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Professional laboratory skills required 
• Ability to work autonomously and lead multiple projects
• Proven innovation and experimental design capability

The salary for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
