My client is a well-regarded law firm seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join their growing team. This is a dynamic opportunity for an attorney who thrives in a varied practice and wants to build meaningful experience across multiple disciplines - without being boxed into a single niche.
The Role
You'll work across a broad and engaging mix of matters, including business and commercial litigation, transactional real estate, and general civil litigation. From drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and real estate transactions to handling disputes through all stages of litigation, you'll gain well-rounded exposure that sharpens both your courtroom and deal-making skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Handling business and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, and business torts
- Supporting transactional real estate work - purchase and sale agreements, due diligence, leasing, and closings
- Managing general civil litigation matters from intake through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial preparation
- Conducting legal research and drafting memos, briefs, and correspondence
- Working directly with clients and senior attorneys in a collaborative, mentorship-driven environment
What They're Looking For
- JD from an accredited law school and active bar admission in the state
- 1-4 years of experience in litigation, real estate, or a general civil practice (new admits with strong internship or clerkship backgrounds encouraged to apply)
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with confidence
- A team player who is eager to grow and take on increasing responsibility
