Overview
We are seeking a skilled, motivated, and detail-oriented HVAC Installer/Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in the HVAC industry. With a strong working knowledge of residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Candidates must be able to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and specifications, while communicating effectively both verbally and in writing. We are looking for a dependable team player who maintains a positive attitude and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Duties
- Installation of HVAC related equipment following company policies and manufacture's specifications
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Wiring of both low and line voltage to cooling heating equipment.
- Conduct service calls in the field, providing prompt solutions for property maintenance needs or appliance repairs
- Installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering.
- Installation of flex and sheet metal duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings.
- Connection of gas lines to heating equipment is properly done.
- Determine the right material needed for installations.
- Be able to confirm, receive, and load materials and equipment required for each job.
- Provide support to other team members
- Accurately fill out paperwork needed for each job
- keep company vehicle clean and monitor service.
Skills
- Strong construction background with knowledge of building codes and safety procedures
- Experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, or related fields
- Read schematics and technical drawings; understanding of HVAC design principles
- Mechanical knowledge of air conditioning systems, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and appliance repair
- Field service experience with equipment repair; familiarity with HVAC/R troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; experience with welding and mechanical repairs
- Valid driver’s license ; clean driving record preferred
- Certifications are a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
