Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrician Helper to join our team. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair across various construction and commercial projects. Duties
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on construction sites and commercial buildings
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to support conduit installation, wire pulling, panel assembly, and the installation of electrical fixtures in accordance with project specifications.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution
- Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems following NEC standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, consistently adhering to company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to safely use hand tools (wire strippers, screwdrivers, pliers) and power tools (drills, saws, conduit benders).
- Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision
- Help with framing carpentry tasks as needed for electrical installations
Requirements
- Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, NEC standards, and troubleshooting using ohmmeters is a plus
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Physical ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
- Construction site experience or frame carpentry background is advantageous

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
