T47 International is seeking an experienced and dependable HVAC Technician to support a secure federal facility in Charlottesville, Virginia. This position is ideal for skilled professionals who take pride in maintaining mission-critical building systems and have the ability to work in a high-security environment.
The selected candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems to ensure reliable facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve issues involving heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems.
- Install, replace, and maintain HVAC components, controls, and related mechanical equipment.
- Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Respond to service calls and emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, environmental requirements, and facility procedures.
- Coordinate with facility management and other maintenance personnel to support mission requirements.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance, Top Secret Preferred is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance and repair experience.
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of a vocational or technical HVAC program preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
