IT Field Service Technician

Job Description

Hemmersbach is seeking a dependable and technically skilled candidate to support digital printing operations, customer deployments, and local field service activities.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor HP Indigo digital presses.Set up print jobs and perform quality checks.Troubleshoot basic press, print-quality, and workflow issues.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.Track production, downtime, and equipment issues.Between deployments, run assigned break/fix service cases within the local area.Follow safety and operational procedures.

Requirements

1 year of experience in desktop support, IT support, or print/hardware environments.HP Indigo or similar digital press experience preferred.Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adapting to changing production needs.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between client sitesWillingness to handle local break/fix service cases between deployments and work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed.Significant out-of-state travel is required. Deployments can vary in length and may require being away from home for several weeks or longer based on customer and project needs.This role is an Hourly Non-Exempt position with a targeted salary range of $22 - $24 USD, based on experience and skillsets.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent, unrestricted basis. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship, including student or temporary work authorization programs.
